Is Old Town of Riga a car free zone? |
Old Town is not a car free zone. For a few years now there is no more entrance fee for vehicles.
But driving and parking in the Old Town area is still very tricky and limited, so, if you visit Riga with your car and wish to drive/park in the Old Town, contact your hotel/apartment owner for explicit instructions, otherwise you may have unexpected and unpleasant fines.
