Latvian Academy of Sciences Building |
Built in 1958, this 108 m tall building was the first skyscraper in Latvia. Great example of the so-called Socialist realism architecture of the Stalinist period, designed in close similarity with Moscow's "Seven Sisters".
Viewing platform is on 17th floor.
Entrance fee: 2 LVL
Opening hours: 9:00 - 21:00 daily
Location: Akadēmijas laukums 1, close to Central Market.
