Dannenstern's House used to be the largest private house in Riga, a real 17th century skyscraper!

Dannenesterns house

Was owned by a very rich duth merchant Ernst Metsue von Dannenstern, who owned more than 150 ships and was granted the title "von Dannenstern" by the king of Sweden.
