Riga Zoo was founded on 1912 October 14, and is still opened every day all year long, except during 2 national holidays: 1st January (New Year) and 24th June (St. Johns day).
How to get there? Simply take a Tram Nr 11 and get out after 30min on "Mežaparks" stop

What can You see there? Giraffe House, Tropical House, Farmstead, Flamingo House, Aquarium, Carnivores, Bears, Endangered anilams of Europe and many, many others! Approximately 3000 animals.
