Swedish Gate |

Swedish Gate are one of the most interesting buildings in Old Town. The gate was built in the city wall in 1698 by the Swedes, who occupied the town at the time, and was named after the Swedish heroic defense of Riga during the Nordic War.
It is the only one city gate in Riga that retained its primordial looks.
