Winter 2010 Ice Damages

The end of Winter 2010 (that was a very cold one) has arrived, the ice that gathered on the roofs of the houses started to melt and fall down on the streets, creating damages and danger to people that walk by on the streets.

While I was walking in the streets of the old town I constantly looked up to the roofs of the houses in order to serching for ice pegs were are planning to fall on me (luckily it did not happen) but I did see other people that walked near me who almost got hit!

And now for pictures of cars that got hit by Ice (Pictures were taken in my backyard in Tallinn):

I was leaving Riga Hostel and noticed a line of people waiting for the falling ice and snow to stop.  Some people were brave enough to leave before it stopped. I was not as brave. (by Terry)
